Megan Moran Cobb,

the owner and creator of MMC, formerly Austin Affair, was born and raised in Austin, Texas. Along with her staff, they have a vast knowledge of Austin and its surrounding areas. This includes relationships with numerous vendors, from venues and caterers to specialty rentals, florists and entertainment.

Megan Moran Cobb is a Certified Wedding Consultant by Nuptial Essentials Consultant Instruction, NECI. Megan is also a Certified Event Designer from the Event Leadership Institure. Megan has a Spanish Literature and a Sociology degree from the Universtiy of Arizona.  

Through MMC, Megan is a member of local chapters of wedding and event networking groups including NEAWP, ILEA & NACE. Austin Affair is also a member on The Knot, Wedding Wire and is a prefered vendor for Austin Wedding Guide. 

 

Outside of  wedding and event groups, Megan is a member of the Junior League of Austin, Toast of the Town Committee, Austin Young Chamber and volunteers regularly at the Center for Child Protection.
